Who is LivingCare?

We are a private healthcare company founded in 2002 by Dr Stephen Feldman – a practising GP. What makes us unique is our approach to health. We treat private patients and NHS referrals to exceptionally high standards – without GP referrals being required, and with short reporting times. Our locations across Sheffield and Leeds offer treatment closer to home, and outside of hospital environments, with multiple services all under one roof – and world-class imaging and advanced treatments in purpose-built facilities like the Canon Medical Arena, our recent joint venture with Canon.

Where can I get LivingCare treatment?

Our centres at Thorpe Park, Canon Medical Arena, Robin Lane Medical Centre, Fountain Medical Centre and Northgate Medical Centre are already helping patients from the community and beyond with private treatments, private GP and NHS services. This means patients can be treated quicker and sooner, and receive treatments that might not be funded by the NHS – adding capacity to the national system and giving locals more choice.

How does LivingCare work?

We work across GP practices and within our own centres in Leeds and Sheffield as the LivingCare group, a structure that offers more for patients. This means we have deep experience in our specialities, the local facilities to deliver treatment, and a single point of call for a seamless, great-value experience. What treatments does LivingCare offer?

Pain management

If you’re coping with pain, we want you to know that you’re not alone. Our clinics offer the best in modern pain management, targeting the sources and symptoms of your pain through a range of up-to-date treatments; as well as expert pain consultations, you can access Joint Injections, Arthrosamid Injections, Nerve Root Blocks, Epidurals, and Radiofrequency Treatment. We even offer PRP injections, which use your body’s plasma to treat pain in a targeted and effective way where it’s needed most.

Gastroenterology

When it comes to diagnosing and treating issues in the digestive system, our clinics offer an easy-to-access channel for any patient. That includes investigations through Endoscopy, Gastroscopy, and Flexible Sigmoidoscopy, through to Colonoscopy – and combinations of these procedures. Whether private or NHS, you can access the same care through Initial Gastroenterology Outpatient visits and Follow-up Appointments.

Urology

For patients seeking help for urinary tract problems, we have a team of urology specialists waiting to help. Private and NHS patients receive the same exceptional standards of care and advanced treatments, from first consultation to procedures including Vasectomy, Cystoscopy, Bladder Scans and Flow Rate tests.

ENT

Our clinics also offer Consultations, treatments and Follow-up Appointments for Ear, Nose and Throat problems. That includes Nasendoscopy/Laryngoscopy, Cauterisation of the Ear/Nose, Hearing Tests and Tympanograms, Grommet insertion and removal, and Nurse-led Microsuction.

Minor surgery

Living Care doctors and nurses offer a range of minor surgeries at our clinics, where you can have Consultations about your issue and then advance to procedures such as Surgical Skin Tag Removal, Surgical Non-cancerous Mole Removal, Surgical Cyst Removal, Surgical Lipoma Removal, Surgical Seborrhoeic Keratosis and Wart Removal.
