LivingCare is a trusted diagnostic and outpatient provider, dedicated to working in partnership with organisations across Yorkshire. We specialise in creating integrated, community-based care solutions that align with the needs of local healthcare systems.
Founded in 2002 by Dr Stephen Feldman, whose vision was to bring care closer to patients at his GP practice in Morley, Leeds. LivingCare has evolved into a well recognised partner for healthcare organisations and our expertise spans a range of specialities and solutions, ensuring we can deliver flexible, cost-effective services that support and enhance local care pathways.
By collaborating closely with NHS Trusts, GP practices, and commissioning bodies, we strive to provide efficient, patient-centred care that not only meets clinical standards but also adapts to the evolving demands of the community. At LivingCare, we believe that strong partnerships lead to better patient outcomes, and our commitment to quality is at the core of everything we do.
LivingCare can work with other providers, GP practices and acute trusts to provide a wide range of outpatient and diagnostic provisions.
For more information on the services we offer please visit our Treatments and Services page.
We offer flexible appointment scheduling and location choices, ensuring that our services remain both efficient and cost‐effective for our partners. By continually monitoring our clinic utilisation and DNA rates, we can streamline patient pathways and run efficient clinics. We make it simple for patients to book and attend appointments through multiple communication channels, including telephone, E-mail and website forms.
The Clinical Nurse Lead for each service works under delegated powers of the Registered Manager for their service. This is in line with the requirements of the Care Quality Commission with reporting lines back through the Registered Manager to the Medical Director and the board. The emphasis is to provide the service with a multidisciplinary team led by our consultant.
All staff take part in regular staff meetings where they are given opportunities to discuss team performance, service delivery issues and contribute to service developments and improvements. The Clinical Services Manager will also attend the meetings to ensure that clear lines of communication are encouraged and established.
Underpinning this is our clinical governance processes encompassing:
In order to deliver our services we need to ensure we have high quality clinical environment that enables clinicians to undertake safe treatment. We audit our facilities on a monthly basis to ensure that they are up to our high expectations. Our facilities are regulated through the CQC, and our Gastroenterology is accredited by JAG.
We ensure we have full processes for IPC, Health and Safety and clinical delivery. Any incidents or issues are reported via our incident form and are dealt with quickly. Our incident rate is currently at 0.03% and our complaints rate is 0.05% of patients.
As a provider of services we need to ensure we protect those patients who are vulnerable. We do this through ensuring our clinicians are fully trained to the appropriate level, that they have read our policies and are knowledgeable of the local safeguarding policies and safeguarding teams.
At LivingCare, we’re always keen to explore new partnerships and collaborations. If you’re interested in working with us or would like to find out more about our services, please get in touch with our team:
