Consultant Radiologist
Dr Philip Robinson is a Consultant MusculoskeletalRadiologist in Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and Honorary ClinicalAssociate Professor University of Leeds and Leeds Musculoskeletal BiomedicalResearch Centre, UK. He is currently President-Elect of the European Society ofMusculoskeletal Radiology (ESSR) and will become President in 2025. He has previouslybeen President of the British Society of Skeletal Radiologists (BSSR) (2018-2020)and Clinical Director for Leeds Radiology (2012-18).
Dr Robinson has authoredover 110 peer-reviewed papers, 25 book chapters and 1 textbook. His mainresearch interests include: sports acute and overuse injuries (particularlygroin, hip, knee and ankle pain), clinical effectiveness studies as well assarcoma imaging and management.
Dr Robinson serves on several academic and educational committeesfor the NHS England, Royal College of Radiologists, European Society ofRadiology, European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology and InternationalSkeletal Society. He is a medical adviser to the European/World DP Golf Tour.
