Endoret PRGF Therapy (Plasma Rich Growth Factors) accelerates healing and tissue regeneration. Using a blood sample, it isolates and concentrates special growth factors injected directly into the area of the body that needs treatment.
Endoret PRGF Therapy (Plasma Rich Growth Factors) is a minimally invasive treatment for orthopaedic conditions, sports injuries, ophthalmology, aesthetics medicine, and dermatology.
Endoret PRGF therapy accelerates healing and tissue regeneration. The injection contains isolated and concentrated growth factors from the patient's blood, which are injected into the injury site to repair and regenerate. This process is similar to PRP injections, which isolate and concentrate blood platelets; however, PRGF involves a greater focus on growth factors and tissue regeneration. You can read about our PRP treatments here.
Endoret PRGF Therapy injections reduce the need for painkillers and support a faster recovery.
A healthcare professional will draw a sample of the patient’s blood. Like with PRP injections, a special machine separates the blood. However, with Endoret PRGF injections, the process is more refined to isolate and concentrate growth factors using a patented processing system. This treatment stimulates cell proliferation and migration with optimal growth factor concentration.
Concentrated growth factors are injected into the injury area using image guidance. When the consultant injects the growth-factor-rich blood, the growth factors stimulate the body’s natural healing process, promoting cell growth, reducing inflammation, and accelerating tissue repair.
Before your Endoret PRGF injection, you’ll have a consultation. In the consultation, you’ll share your medical history, condition, symptoms, and previous treatments you’ve explored.
Once the consultant has established that an Endoret PRGF injection is the right course of treatment, they’ll take a small sample of your blood, much like a blood test.
The blood is processed using the Endoret PRGF system. This isolates the growth factors and removes leukocytes (inflammatory cells), which gives the injections more anti-inflammatory properties.
Once isolated, the consultant injects the concentrated and isolated blood into the injured area, using imaging techniques to ensure accuracy.
Endoret PRGF Therapy is considered a safe, minimally invasive treatment. There are no adverse effects or risks of incompatibility. Any injection-based treatment carries a slight risk of infection, bruising, or pain in the injection site.
After your treatment, you should be able to go home and resume your normal activities. Your healthcare provider will share bespoke advice relating to your specific condition.
PRP and PRGF injections help promote healing and reduce recovery times. PRGF therapy treatments involve isolating and injecting growth factor rich blood into the injury, whereas PRP injections focus on injecting plasma-rich blood into the injury site.
PRGF Therapy injections are suitable for orthopaedic conditions, sports injuries, ophthalmology, aesthetics medicine, and capillary and dermatology conditions. They effectively treat arthrosis, tendon, ligament, and muscular injuries.
